Fidelis Insurance Group, a global insurance and reinsurance company headquartered in Bermuda, has announced the appointment of Nicole Kapu-Leyland as Group General Counsel.
In her new role, Kapu-Leyland will report directly to Dan Burrows, Group Chief Executive Officer of Fidelis Insurance Group.
She joined the company in September 2023 as Senior Legal Counsel and has since held several key positions, including Deputy General Counsel and most recently Interim Group Head of Legal.
Prior to joining Fidelis Insurance Group, Kapu-Leyland was an Associate in the Corporate and Financial Services team at Willkie Farr & Gallagher (UK) LLP. Before that, she worked as an Associate in the Financial Institutions Group at Clifford Chance and also completed client secondments with Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank.
