Commercial property insurer FM Global has named Ziad Alex S. Tadmoury as their new Executive Vice President.
Tadmoury will be responsible for overseeing operations in the regions of EMEA, Asia Pacific, Canada, as well as FM Global’s specialty industries.
Additionally, he will take charge of AFM, the company’s middle market insurance division.
Tadmoury, who is presently serving as the Senior Vice President and Division Manager of AFM, will officially assume his new role on January 1, 2024.
He will report directly to Bret Ahnell, FM Global’s Chief Operating Officer and will be stationed at FM Global’s London office.
Tadmoury is set to succeed James R. Galloway, who will retire on December 31, 2023, after an impressive 37 years of dedicated service to FM Global.
Tadmoury’s journey with FM Global began in 1989 when he joined as a reinsurance claims analyst. Over the years, he has climbed the corporate ladder, holding various significant positions such as manager of assumed reinsurance in Massachusetts, deputy director of FM Global’s construction and international power units based in London, and operations manager based in Paris.
In 2012, he moved to FM Global’s corporate headquarters in Rhode Island, where he took on senior leadership roles, including heading client service and sales, compliance, and overseeing Hobbs Brook Real Estate.
His most recent role was as the Asia Pacific division manager in 2019, and in 2022, he assumed the role of AFM division manager.
Notably, Tadmoury’s experience also extends beyond FM Global, with previous roles at Hanover Re’s Med Re Services in Athens, Greece.
