Commercial property insurer, FM Global, has announced some changes to its management team, including the appointment of Stefano Tranquillo to Senior Vice President (SVP), Division Manager, EMEA/Asia-Pacific.
Previously, Tranquillo was SVP, Division Manager for just the Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore, but the addition of the EMEA region sees Tranquillo move to the firm’s Luxembourg office.
Tranquillo joined the firm in 1984 as a loss prevention engineer, and has held a number of different roles at the firm. This includes roles in engineering, underwriting and also management.
FM Global has also announced that David M. Johnson, previously Operations Vice President, Area Manager in Asia, has been named Vice President, Regional Manager, Asia, and will based in the company’s Singapore office.
In his new role Johnson will be tasked with expanding FM Global’s business across the Asia-Pacific region, and he will also be the local liaison for the firm’s major loss prevention training and operations center in Singapore, which is scheduled to launch in early 2019.
Johnson joined the firm in 1990, and has held a number of positions in the U.S. and Sweden, with his latest role taking him to the firm’s Singapore office.
