Global advisory, broking and solutions company Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has announced the appointment of Fred Abbott as their new Market Leader for Northern California.
Abbott has held several geography and business segment leadership roles in the U.S. and Canada during his Willis Towers Watson career. Most recently he led the Northern California team of client relationship directors, all of whom support key clients in the market. Prior to this, he headed the company’s Health and Benefits practice for the market.
Upon his selection, Abbott remarked, “I‘m delighted to collaborate with my talented Northern California colleagues to support our clients, many of whom are global innovators and leaders.”
The new role will include overseeing the company’s business operations, client relationships and growth opportunities across the Northern Californian market.
Abbott has been with the company for over 30 years, helping clients align their HR programs and processes with their business and people objectives.
