Arthur J. Gallagher & Co (Gallagher) has announced the appointment of Steve Lewins to the newly created position of Client Director for Wales & West.
Lewins brings 35 years’ experience to the role, in which he will be responsible for strengthening Gallagher’s public sector & education presence across Wales and South-West England, and for providing local expertise and support to clients.

Lewins joins Gallagher from Marsh, where he held the position of Vice President of its Public Entities Practice for four years. His career spans many roles working with public sector & education clients, including time spend at Towergate and at Capita Specialist Insurance Services.
This announcement follows Gallagher’s recent appointment of Jayne Pinnell as Client Director for the North East in the company’s UK Public Sector & Education Practice, further increasing the broker’s specialist reach in the sector.
