Gallagher names Ana Matarranz as CEO for Spain

Gallagher, an insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Ana Matarranz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Spain.

Gallagher logoIn her new role, Matarranz will lead Gallagher’s growth strategy in Spain, combining organic revenue development with the integration of specialist teams and capabilities, further strengthening the company’s value proposition for clients in the market.

She brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the insurance, financial services, and consulting industries. Throughout her career, she has held senior roles at leading insurers and global brokerage firms, operating in highly regulated and complex environments across Iberia and international markets.

Matarranz currently serves as an Independent Board Member at Ábside Media, Independent Board Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at UMAS, a Spanish mutual insurer, and Advisory Board Member at INESE.

Prior to joining Gallagher, Ana held senior leadership roles at WTW and Howden, as well as insurance groups MAPFRE and Caser-Helvetia.
