Gallagher Re, a global reinsurance broker and risk advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Russell Hails as Executive Director, Head of MGA Solutions, APAC.
Hails joined Gallagher Re last year with a mandate to rebuild its MGA proposition in the Pacific region.
In his expanded role, he will work closely with colleagues across the APAC region and the Global Program Solutions team to identify and deliver growth opportunities.
Hails brings nearly two decades of industry experience, having previously worked at Lockton and spent 15 years at Willis Re in Sydney, where he led the firm’s facultative and MGA propositions.
