Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the appointment of Richard Vuurman as Executive Director, Life, Accident & Health.
Based in the Netherlands, Vuurman will support clients across Europe, bringing over 25 years of experience in Life & Health reinsurance.
The executive brings extensive expertise in structuring and placing reinsurance solutions, as well as longstanding relationships across the European insurance market.
His career includes 14 years at Aon, a global re/insurance broker and a nine-year tenure at Delta Lloyd, a major financial services and insurance provider based in Amsterdam
Vuurman’s hiring, Gallagher Re noted, further bolsters the broker’s ability to help clients navigate an evolving market and identify innovative opportunities.
