Reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the appointments of three senior Aon executives to its Asia Pacific (APAC) team, all based in Singapore.
The new hires include Richard Jones, formerly CEO Reinsurance Asia at Aon, Kyung Won, formerly Executive Director, and Vinay Ananthanarayanan, previously Head of Production, Asia at the firm.
Jones has been with Aon since May 2019, initially joining as Executive Chairman of its Reinsurance Solutions business in Asia.
Before that, he served as Chairman of Asia Pacific at Guy Carpenter, where he spent 31 years in various roles.
Won has worked at Aon for the past five years. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Guy Carpenter, most recently serving as Managing Director – Head of South East Asia & Korea.
Ananthanarayanan was at Aon for six years, holding leadership positions including Production Leader and Director – Head of SAARC & Sales Lead Philippines.
Before that, he was an Associate Director at United Insurance Brokers Limited and a Risk Analytics Specialist at Aon Benfield.
Gallagher Re expects these appointments to help deliver long-term value and strengthen trusted partnerships, underscoring its commitment to investing in the region.
