Gen Re Singapore has hired Cindy Sng as its new Chief Executive Officer.
She has spent over nine years at the company.
In her new position, she will be responsible for serving as the Principal Officer of the Gen Re Singapore Branch.
Prior to this, Sng served as the Regional CFO of Asia. In this role her remit included, serving as the Asia Head of Finance for Singapore, China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Labuan with direct reports across Asia.
Sng started her career as the Finance Director Asean at Euler Hermes (Allianz Group).
She was with the group for a period of 11 years.
As the Finance Director, her remit included setting up and heading the Finance Department of the Singapore Regional Office.
Sng provided management support and oversight to overseas entities within the Singapore Regional Office including ASEAN, India, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
She worked hand in hand with the CEO/Regional CEO in handling business and operational issues.
