Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C), a subsidiary of the Italian insurance giant, has appointed Nicholas Selff as Head of Underwriting for Asia, effective immediately.
He joins the organisation from Chubb where he most recently served as the Head of Property and Casualty (P&C) in Malaysia, having previously held senior regional leadership positions with Chubb in Singapore.
The Italian group said that Selff has a strong background in the P&C insurance industry, having worked for over 15 years in various positions across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Throughout his career, Selff has held notable leadership positions across major firms, including Chubb, AIG, and Zurich.
“We trust that he will further enhance the development of Generali’s business across Asia, ensuring underwriting excellence to drive profitable growth and deliver exceptional value to customers and brokers,” GC&C said.
