Global Atlantic Financial Group, a U.S.-focused annuity and life insurer, has announced the appointment of Manu Sareen as Co-President alongside Rob Arena, effective immediately.
In his new role, Sareen will partner with Arena in supporting Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Allan Levine, in operating the firm and executing its growth strategy.
At the same time, Sareen, who has been a member of the company since its development days as the Goldman Sachs Reinsurance Group, will continue to oversee Global Atlantic’s Institutional Markets business.
Under Sareen’s leadership, the Institutional Markets division has built a reputation as a premier, client-centric reinsurance partner in the industry.
Co-president Arena also has oversight of Individual Markets, and combined with Sareen’s continued leadership of Institutional Markets, their roles are aligned to reinforce the criticality and strategic importance of these core businesses.
