Goosehead Insurance, an independent personal lines insurance agency, has acquired more than 15,000 insurance policies for $5.5m in cash through an agreement with Vivint Smart Home.
According to the announcement, this purchase will allow the company to accelerate growth and will also provide significant benefits to existing Vivint insurance policyholders, which include Goosehead’s breadth of product, distribution and technology.
