Graham to lead DUAL NA’s EIURS as EVP, Frey named SVP of Professional Liability

DUAL North America has announced two new underwriting leadership appointments in its casualty divisions, Andreas Graham as Executive Vice President of the EIURS team, a division of DUAL, and Ed Frey as Senior Vice President of Professional Liability.

dual-logoLeading the EIURS team at DUAL, Graham will head the middle market energy casualty, ocean marine, and inland marine underwriting operations.

His primary objectives encompass driving growth and reinforcing the company’s position within this crucial market segment.

Graham is a recognised leader in the casualty insurance space with over two decades of industry experience.

He brings extensive experience in marine and energy risks, having served most recently as Head of Excess Casualty National Accounts at Everest Insurance, where he managed a diverse portfolio across energy, construction, and general industry sectors.

Throughout his career, the executive has held senior positions at AIG, ACE USA, and ProSight Specialty, further broadening his knowledge across the energy, marine, and construction markets.

Based in Boston, Graham will report to Connie Germano, Chief Casualty Officer at DUAL North America.

As SVP of Professional Liability, Frey will work towards driving growth and innovation in the division. He will oversee DUAL’s existing professional liability portfolio while spearheading initiatives to expand the platform and identify new market opportunities.

Frey brings to his new role 20 years of expertise in professional liability underwriting and broking. Through his career he has successfully managed diverse portfolios spanning architects & engineers (A&E), miscellaneous professional liability (MPL), accountants, employment practices liability insurance (EPLI), technology, and environmental risks.

Most recently, he served as Director of Underwriting at Navigators, where he led the development and execution of multiple professional liability programs.

Based in Chicago, Frey will report to Connie Germano, and work closely with the team to deliver strategic growth in this dynamic sector.

Larry Baldino, who stepped in to lead the professional liability division for the last few years, will now fully focus on overseeing DUAL’s expanding cyber business and driving its growth and innovation.
