Guy Carpenter appoints Connie Tregidga as MD in Global Structured Solutions

Guy Carpenter, a Marsh business, has announced the appointment of Connie Tregidga as Managing Director within its Global Structured Solutions team.

Based in London, she will focus on legacy transactions and sidecar activity, areas that Guy Carpenter identifies as becoming increasingly important within the reinsurance and structured solutions market.

Tregidga’s appointment further strengthens the firm’s capabilities in these areas and enhances its structured solutions offering for clients navigating evolving market conditions.

She joins Guy Carpenter with a background that combines legal expertise and extensive transaction experience across the insurance and reinsurance sectors.

Most recently, she served as Group M&A Director at Compre Group, where she spent almost five years overseeing merger and acquisition activity. Prior to that, she held a number of senior positions at QBE Insurance over more than a decade, including Head of Retrospective Solutions & Group Reinsurance Counsel and Group Reinsurance Counsel.

In those roles, she was responsible for supporting the management of legal risk and governance across QBE’s global reinsurance operations, with a particular focus on retrospective solutions transactions and captive insurance arrangements. Earlier in her career, she worked as Corporate Counsel and Legal Counsel at QBE Europe.
