Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance arm of global brokerage Marsh, has announced the launch of GC Access (SM), a new business unit designed to provide dedicated MGA program business solutions.
The new business division offers a range of services to MGAs and carriers operating within the program market, including carrier and reinsurance transactions, captive support, insurtech expertise, and program startup roadmaps.
GC Access, which is supported by a dedicated team of program brokers, contract specialists, modellers, and actuaries, helps clients develop fully optimised program solutions that combine focused expertise, leading analytics capabilities, global reach, and an expansive network of re/insurer relationships to efficiently match MGAs and carriers.
The GC Access team is led by Michael Jameson, who has been appointed as President of the new business. In this role, Jameson will be responsible for overseeing all activities across the new business and will report to John Trace, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of North America at Guy Carpenter. Previously, Jameson served as Head of Guy Carpenter’s Program division.

GC Access provides fully integrated services across business planning, program carrier selection, capital advisory, and modeling support. Additionally, the new unit introduces a number of program-specific proprietary tools and accesses the reinsurance broker’s global reach to deliver best-in-class client solutions.
