Bermuda-based re/insurer Hamilton has entered the environmental insurance marketplace and appointed John Termini to lead the unit as US head of environmental.
Termini brings over 25 years’ professional/environmental experience and joins from Markel Specialty Insurance Company, where he was managing director, environmental & energy.
Before his time at Markel he was with Aspen Specialty Insurance Company as vice president, director of environmental liability.
Termini has been working on building out his team and developing the book of business, leveraging the company’s Lloyd’s platform.
The unit’s long-term goal is to provide a broad range of innovative product offerings to lead the market.
