Specialist general aviation broker Hayward Aviation is to rebrand as Gallagher this month.
The firm had become part of Gallagher when the firm acquired Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group’s global aerospace operations in 2019.
Guy Holland-Bosworth, CEO of General Aviation for Gallagher’s Aerospace Practice said: “We are very pleased to reach this key milestone having become part of Gallagher back in 2019. Having the team operating under a leading global insurance brand will enable us to capitalise on the investment in the Gallagher brand at both a UK and global level.”
He added: “Clients can be reassured that our existing team remains in place and they will continue to receive the same high-quality service from the individuals they know that understand their insurance needs and can provide in-depth general aviation insurance expertise.”
Hayward Aviation was founded in 1992 to provide insurance broking and risk management services to the general aviation sector and offers expertise across a number of specialisms including privately owned planes, helicopters, business aviation, airports, airlines and vintage planes. The team of circa 70 has commercial and individual clients in over 70 countries and is based in London.
Clients will continue to have the same day-to-day contacts at the firm, who understand their individual insurance requirements, but will benefit from the scale of Gallagher giving them access to a larger suite of insurance products and services and its expertise across 39,000 global employees.
