HDI Global has appointed Tom Major as Chief Claims Officer, UK and Ireland, effective from February 7, 2025, who will join the firm’s Executive team, reporting to Stephanie Ogden, Chief Executive Officer, UK and Ireland.
Major will join the organisation from Allianz, where he currently serves as UK Head of Claims at Allianz Commercial, leading a large team of London Market claims experts with responsibility for a portfolio that covers nine lines of business.
Throughout his 12-year tenure at Allianz, he has held a variety of roles across Underwriting and Claims.
This appointment follows on just two months after Ogden established a new executive team at the firm.
Readers will recall that Ogden joined the firm as the new CEO of HDI Global UK & Ireland, in early September.
