HDI Global Specialty (HDI) has announced that Mark Fleiser, former General Manager of its Australian operations, has been promoted to Managing Director of its Australian branch.
Fleiser’s appointment is effective immediately.
Within his role as General Manager, Fleiser has been able to successfully oversee the growth of the firms Australian operation. HDI’s Australian operation is now a significant contributor to the insurer’s overall performance.
Overall, Fleiser brings over twenty-five years of industry experience towards his new role. He has been employed by the Talanx group since 2009.
Commenting on his promotion, Fleiser, said: “I am delighted to receive this promotion as a recognition of my own efforts, but importantly, also the efforts and contribution of my entire team over the years.
“The Australian branch continues to be well positioned to provide products, services and strong security to the specialty segments of the Australian market. In my new role I plan to strive for even greater success delivering on the company’s strategic plans.”
