HDI Global SE UK & Ireland (HDI) has appointed Kate Sutcliffe as Director of Property, UK & Ireland, effective January 15, 2024, who will take over the role from Jon Bartlett who retired at the end of last year.
Reporting to Antonia Osborne, Director of Underwriting, UK & Ireland, Sutcliffe will continue to drive HDI’s property business forward, the firm stated, with a focus on developing propositions that meet the diverse needs of its property clients.
This includes UK and Ireland corporations with multinational operations that benefit from HDI’s leading International Programmes proposition.
Sutcliffe brings to her new role over two decades of experience of underwriting, joining HDI from Sompo International where she was Head of UK Retail Property, London.
She previously held roles at Swiss Re and AIG, and is a Subject Matter Expert on Commercial Property Underwriting on behalf of the CII.
