HDI Global Specialty UK has appointed Kirsten Westly to the role of Claims Director, taking over the role from Clare Constable who will leave HDI in November.
Starting her new role in November, Westly will be reporting to Rafael Rebitzky, Managing Director and CUO of HDI Global Specialty UK.
She is a qualified solicitor and has over 15 years of experience in the London insurance market managing a claims team of financial lines and casualty claims handlers. Westly joined HDI in 2020 and currently heads up the specialty lines insurer’s Financial and Professional Lines claims team.
Prior to HDI she served at The Hartford as Technical Claims Manager, a role she held for almost two years. Before that, she spent almost nine years at Navigators, a brand of The Hartford, where she held several roles including Technical Claims Manager, Claims Manager and Claims Executive.
Rafael Rebitzky commented: “Since joining HDI, Kirsten has provided strong leadership to the Financial and Professional Lines claims team. She has built a very capable team that has provided excellent claims handling service to our broker partners.
