Hiscox names Frank Lamantia as Chief Technology Officer, US

Specialist insurer Hiscox has appointed Frank Lamantia as its new Chief Technology Officer in the U.S., where he will serve on the Hiscox US leadership team and the Hiscox Group Technology leadership team, effective January 21st, 2025.

hiscox-logoLamantia will have a dual reporting line to Mary Boyd, the Chief Executive Officer of Hiscox USA, and Chris Loake, the Chief Information Officer of Hiscox Group.

He brings over 15 years of technology leadership experience in insurtech and property & casualty carrier environments and will lead all aspects of Hiscox USA’s technology development. He also has a proven track record of turning company needs into product, technology roadmaps, and software architecture, explains the firm.

Most recently, he served as Bold Penguin’s Chief Technology Officer. Earlier in his career, Lamantia held technology leadership roles with Magellan Health, and Olive, and started his insurance career with Nationwide.
