Hiscox USA, part of the global insurer and reinsurer, has appointed Steven Wilkins to be its new senior vice president and head of casualty.
Wilkins made the announcement on LinkedIn. His profile indicates that he has been with the firm since 2013, working in a series of roles.
In his new role, Wilkins has responsibility for general liability and BOP products for the firm in the US.
He started with the firm as a catastrophe modelling analyst, before becoming a strategy analyst in 2016, head of underwriting insight in a year later.
Wilkins later became head of data labs between 2018 and 2020, before being appointed senior vice president of strategy in 2020 and then senior vice president and head of casualty at the beginning of the year.
Until 2020, Wilkins was based in London, but now resides in New York.
