Independent specialty MGA HIVE Underwriters is set to launch an Aviation Reinsurance division, with underwriting scheduled to begin in October 2026.
The addition of Aviation Reinsurance further strengthens HIVE’s position as a multi-class specialty MGA and Lloyd’s Coverholder, expanding its capabilities alongside its existing Aviation, Space, Marine, and Political Violence & Terrorism teams.
Senior underwriters Scott Bradbury and Joshua Down will reportedly lead the new class offering, joining HIVE once their contractual obligations with their current employer are complete.
