Hood Group Limited, a provider of insurance solutions, is pleased to announce the successful buyout of the Group’s silent shareholders, with support from Connection Capital LLP, a private equity and alternative investment firm.
The company’s senior leadership team—CEO Simon Hood, Commercial Director Bruce Reid, Chief Operating Officer James Wallis, Travel Director Mark Izzard, and Non-Executive Chair Andy Homer—will remain in their positions, as will all Associate Directors.

The financing secured for this transaction provides significant capital to expand the Direct and B2B insurance distribution operations, pursue opportunities in new and existing markets, and enhance resources across the Group.
This investment supports Hood Group’s mission to deliver outstanding customer experiences, build stronger insurer partnerships, and strengthen its brand presence.
