Howden Insurance Brokers Limited has announced the appointment of Emma Carpenter as Head of Superyachts, London.
In her new role, Carpenter will lead Howden’s London Superyacht team and join its Global Superyacht Executive Committee, helping to shape the continued development of its international proposition while supporting long-term succession planning.
She brings more than two decades of industry experience, including extensive leadership experience and specialist expertise, alongside a strong reputation across the superyacht sector.
Carpenter joins Howden after more than six years at Aon, where she served as Global Head of Superyachts. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at WTW as a Superyacht Insurance Broker.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Daniel Whiteside, Managing Director – Global Practice Leader Marine, Cargo & Logistics at Howden, said, “Emma brings extensive leadership experience in the Superyacht sector and is currently Global Head of Superyachts at Aon, where she is completing her contractual obligations ahead of joining us in October.
