Howden Re, a global reinsurance broker, is strengthening its DACH facultative team with the appointment of Verena Seitz and Johanna Fricke as Directors.
Both individuals will focus on expanding Howden Re’s facultative reinsurance operations across the DACH region. They bring extensive experience in structuring and placing intricate multinational programs, along with established client relationships within the DACH market.
“These new appointments come at a time when clients are operating in an increasingly complex risk environment and are placing greater emphasis on close partnerships, local networks, and first-class execution,” a Howden Re spokesperson stated.

The appointments of Seitz and Fricke are part of a series of strategic new hires – including Ilka Freitag, Cem Nart, Enver Karapinar, and Andreas Fricke – aimed to position Howden Re as one of the most attractive reinsurance brokers in the DACH region.
