Howden Tiger, the reinsurance broking arm of Howden, recently announced the appointment of Estevam Souza to the position of Head of Operations, Brazil.
Antonio Jorge Rodrigues, Head of Howden Tiger Brazil, expresses enthusiasm about Souza joining the team, stating, “Effective and efficient operations that support our focus on client service are a vital component of Howden’s offering. Estevam is a well recognised executive with extensive experience in the industry and region.”

Prior to joining Howden Tiger, Souza’s most recent role was at Sompo Seguros, a subsidiary of Sompo International, where he served as their Reinsurance Manager for the company’s Brazilian business for over three and a half years.
Bringing over 25 years of invaluable experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector, Souza has worked at esteemed companies such as Porto Seguro, Fairfax, ACE Group, and MetLife, where he held significant leadership positions in reinsurance and underwriting.
