inDrive teams up with MIC Global for driver accident and medical coverage

MIC Global (MIC), a provider of comprehensive embedded micro insurance solutions, is teaming up with inDrive, an international platform specialising in mobility and urban services, as well as local insurers.

mic-global-logo-newTheir goal is to introduce advanced micro insurance options to inDrive drivers and passengers globally, starting in Latin America.

These offerings will initially focus on providing coverage for personal accidents and medical expenses.

As inDrive’s platform gains momentum globally, they are enhancing their service offerings and expanding internationally by introducing new integrated micro insurance products. These initiatives aim to support their driver community, encourage user retention, and attract new app users.

With the support of MIC’s MiIncome digital reinsurance solution via local insurers, inDrive and MIC are partnering on a range of integrated products designed to address the everyday financial needs of inDrive drivers and passengers.

Initially focusing on personal accident coverages (Accidental Death and Total Permanent Disability) and accidental medical expenses (Hospital Cash and Medical Expenses Reimbursement).

These offerings provide drivers with financial assistance to cover hospital and medical expenses, offering protection for their families in case of permanent disability or death.
