Insurance Advisory Partners names Johan Slabbert as senior advisor

Insurance Advisory Partners (IAP), a specialised investment bank in insurance and the insurtech industry, has appointed Johan Slabbert as a Senior Advisor, based in London.

handshake-bwSlabbert is an industry veteran with over 27 years of experience, having worked extensively in the UK, Europe, North America, Latin America, and Japanese markets.

He has served as senior insurance executive, as both CEO and CFO, covering both Consumer and Commercial Insurance expanding to Specialty Insurance at Lloyd’s and US MGAs producing E&S business.

Key roles during his time in the industry include CEO MSIG North America, CEO MS Amlin AUL, Chairman Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance company Europe Limited, CEO and Founder Augustus Specialty, CEO and CFO Chaucer Limited (Lloyd’s of London). Prior to these roles, he was in various senior finance and non-finance positions across all continents for over sixteen years at global insurer AIG.
