Genasys, a provider of insurance administration software, has launched Genasys Unify, a major update to its core platform.

The latest release provides an overhaul of the previous Genasys user interface as well as a host of new features. With this, the software provider aims to make insurance easier and more rewarding for businesses and their customers.

Genasys Unify, which is to be unveiled at Insurtech Insights Europe in London on March 20, was designed to provide end-to-end insurance administration capabilities in one single unified solution, from product building to policy management, claims and billing.

The latest version of Genasys’ cloud-based platform provides a wealth of new features to improve efficiency and cross-team collaboration.

It has also introduced hundreds of new API end-points to enable Genasys customers to manage complex technology eco-systems through one core administration solution, the firm explained.

Craig Olivier, CTO of Genasys, commented: “With the release of Genasys Unify, we’ve made a huge leap forward in optimising the policy, claims and billing management experience for the modern insurance professional.

“Via extensive market research and our first-hand experience with insurance businesses around the world, we’ve listened to what our customers want. Their focus is easy-to-use software, personalised to their own specific needs, that frees them from the burden of basic administrative tasks. Software that enables the provision of best-in-class digital experiences for insurance-buyers and partners, and future-proofs businesses against a backdrop of rapid technological change.”

According to the firm, Genasys Unify’s users will be able to customise the platform to their own brand style, and connect the platform to external technology partners via its API to enable the curation of innovative digital experiences across the buying and claims journeys.

Olivier continued: “It’s in our Genasys DNA to continuously improve our offering to our clients, working to make insurance easier and more rewarding for everyone across the value chain.

“The release of Genasys Unify demonstrates our ongoing pursuit of continuous functional, operational and technological improvement for our customers, while reflecting the significant transformation of the insurance market. I’m incredibly proud of Genasys Unify as we make it even easier for insurance businesses to do more, faster.”

Genasys Unify was built to evolve as new features and functionality are released; its current features have been designed to increase performance for insurance businesses.

These include personalised dashboards for each user, to provide up-to-date insights and analytics based on user persona; brand new task management tools for cross-team communication and speed up processes; and a powerful search functionality so users can instantly access contextual policy, customer and claims information at any time.

Other features include an updated wordings library and a variety of tools to enable management of complex insurance products, commission structures and co-insurance agreements; as well as intelligent user warnings to reduce user errors and omissions across the policy and claims management processes.
