Commercial insurtech provider Bold Penguin has partnered with biBerk, a member of the Berkshire Hathaway Group, to address growing demand for workers compensation coverage.
Under the arrangement, agents and brokers using the Bold Penguin platform will now be able to triage, quote, and bind commercial insurance coverage available through an API integration.
In particular, the integration will allow users to digitally access biBERK’s suite of workers compensation products.
“Efficiency is key in quoting small commercial,” said Ilya Bodner, Founder and CEO of Bold Penguin.
“By welcoming additional key carriers to our platform we’re allowing them and their distribution partners to reduce the number of screens, portals, and access points necessary to get to a quick and accurate quote,” Bodner explained.
Launched in 2016, biBERK offers policies from the Berkshire Hathaway Group of insurance companies, and primarily focuses on small businesses.
Its policies cover most industries, and currently include workers compensation, professional liability, general liability, business owners policy, umbrella, and commercial auto.
