Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions, the US insurance subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation, has appointed Aaron Belair as its new President of Technology, North America (NA), based in San Francisco.
In the role, he will focus on strengthening broker relationships, delivering tailored solutions, fostering a culture that attracts talent, and accelerating Intact’s market position.
Belair’s appointment aligns with Intact’s commitment to delivering best-in-class specialty solutions, combining deep industry expertise with a global perspective to support innovation-driven sectors.
He joined Intact in 2019 and has since held several leadership positions spanning technology, multinational and, most recently, European casualty.
Most recently, Belair was the Head of Liability, ProFin, and Technology for RSA Luxembourg in Europe. Belair has over 15 years of industry experience with a specialisation in the technology sector.
While based in Madrid, he helped build RSA’s technology platform, delivered tailored property, casualty, errors and omissions (E&O), and cyber solutions across Europe. He also led the region’s casualty portfolio and played a key role in expanding Intact’s specialty capabilities in the European market.
Melissa Goto, Deputy Senior Vice President, Specialty Lines, US, Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions, commented, “Aaron has been a driving force for growth and innovation across our European operations. His strategic vision and expertise have significantly advanced our presence in the global tech sector.
“We are thrilled to welcome him back to the US as he assumes leadership of our North American Technology business.”
Belair added, “It was an exciting chapter for Intact and RSA. Collaborating with our teams and partners across the region laid a strong foundation for what we can now build upon in Specialty.
“I am looking forward to accelerating our specialty growth here by deepening broker relationships, expanding our capabilities, and continuing to deliver tailored solutions to the tech sector.”
