IQUW, a property and specialty re/insurer has promoted Tristram Prior to the role of Lead Underwriter Financial Institutions – Professional Lines.
Based in London, this new role is a significant step up from Prior’s previous role of Senior Underwriter, Financial Institutions/ Professional Lines.
Overall, Prior brings over 15 years of industry experience towards his new role.
He began his career in the industry working as a Junior Broker at WTW.
In 2012, Prior joined Antares Underwriting Services Limited and would serve in Financial Institution underwriting positions throughout his four year tenure at the firm.
Moving forward to 2016, Prior then joined Talbot Underwriting Ltd., where he would also serve in Financial Institution underwriting roles throughout his tenure.
In 2020, Prior then joined global re/insurer Chubb and would serve as Financial Institutions Senior Underwriter for just over a year before he joined IQUW in early 2021.
Earlier this year, IQUW expanded its Political Risk team with the appointment of Cindy Jiang as Political Risk Underwriter within its Specialty Division.
