Ironshore Inc. has named executive Kristin D. McMahon, Esq. as its new Head of U.S. Claims, effective immediately.
Prior to the appointment, McMahon served as the company’s Chief Claims Officer within its specialty healthcare unit, IronHealth, and also recently took on underwriting oversight as President of the unit’s liability and regulatory business lines.
In her new position, McMahon will report to Mike Mitrovic, Head of Global Claims, Ironshore Inc., and have responsibility for both claims management oversight and litigation management services for Ironshore’s U.S. specialty business lines, which includes IronHealth, IronPro, Environmental, and Property & Casualty business lines.

Before joining Ironshore, McMahon was a partner at law firm Kerns, Frost & Pearlman, where she specialised in the representation of professional liability re/insurers in the U.S., Bermuda, and London.
