Fidelis Insurance Holdings Limited, the Bermuda-domiciled re/insurer, has hired James Dumelow as Corporate Communications Director, where he will report to Miranda Hunter, Head of Investor Relations.
He joins the re/insurer with nearly 15 years of industry experience helping companies develop and implement group wide communications and marketing strategies.
In his most recent role, he served as the Group Head of Marketing and Communications for Ascot Group.
Before he joined Ascot Group, Dumelow served in communications and distribution positions at Tokio Marine Kiln.
Dumelow began his career in the industry by working at public relations agencies including H&K Strategies.
In his new role, Dumelow will play a crucial role in building Fidelis Insurance Group’s Communications and Engagement function with a focus on further elevating the organisations brand.
Miranda Hunter, Head of Investor Relations, commented on the appointment: “James brings an extensive background in speciality (re)insurance communications, and will be integral to the development of our communications, marketing, and public relations capabilities.
