It’s been announced today that Bermudian Jenni Rowntree Estis has been promoted to the role of Head of Operations, Senior Vice President, Broking after 16 years at reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter.
The new role will include the overseeing of IT, human resources, finance and client administration services at the company and maintaining administration, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison on all company affairs with executives.
Rowntree Estis will also provide oversight of Compliance and Professional Standards as well as establish and enforce internal standards of conduct and will oversee corporate social responsibility.
Since joining the reinsurance broking arm of Marsh & McLennan in 2002 Rowntree Estis has been actively involved in securing new clients and broking major accounts as well as working closely with overseas brokers and client support services and cultivating valuable relationships. Between 2005 and 2006, she worked in the company’s London office.
Rowntree Estis worked with Overseas Partners Re as a Reinsurance Accounting Assistant and as a Senior Accounts Assistant at IPC Re prior to her time with Guy Carpenter.
