JLT announces executive changes, including appointment of Group COO

Global insurance and reinsurance broker JLT Group announced a number of leadership changes across its business as part of its 2016 earnings release, including the appointment of a Group Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Effective February 28th, 2017, Mike Methley has been named Group COO, leaving his role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JLT Latin America, Chairman of JLT Canada and JLT Insurance Management.

Taking over as CEO of JLT Latin America and Chairman of JLT Canada is Mark Drummond Brady, and he will assume the new responsibilities on top of his duties as Deputy Group CEO.

Global CEO of the firm’s reinsurance segment, JLT Re, Mike Reynolds, will take on the responsibilities for JLT Insurance Management, explained the broker.

Lastly, CEO of JLT UK & Ireland Employee Benefits, Bala Viswanathan, will also assume the role of International Chairman of Employee Benefits.
