Reinsurance broker and advisor JLT Re is further expanding and developing its service offering to the Nordics region, adding two new hires to its broking and analytics capability.
JLT Re recently added a new Head of its P&C reinsurance business for the Nordics last year, hiring Anna-Karin Toresson. These new hires build on this as it targets growing its brokerage business in the region.
Annja Karlsson joins JLT Re as a broker, coming from Guy Carpenter, with a reputation and experience of broking across all lines of business in all the Nordic territories.
Daniel Knös joins JLT Re as an actuarial analyst from Länsförsäkringar, where he gained experience as part of the outwards reinsurance buying team and inwards reinsurance department as an analyst. Knös has experience of Nordic area catastrophe modelling and is experienced in assessing various reinsurance programmes.
Anna-Karin Toresson commented on the hires; “I am delighted we are building out our capability, with Annja and Daniel make excellent additions to the team. Both share the drive and dynamism of the JLT Re culture and will work closely with myself and our Nordic teams in London and Basel and will be based in our Stockholm office. Clients in the region are already enthused by our proposition and growing local capability.”
