International reinsurance brokerage JLT Re subsidiary, JLT Re (North America) Inc., has announced the appointment of John Paulsen from Guy Carpenter, as Senior Vice President (SVP) based in Chicago, Illinois.
In his new role Paulsen will have a focus on the ongoing expansion and development of the firm’s regional and national global practices across the Midwest, U.S., and he is expected to join the company within the next month.

Paulsen has more than 15 years of relevant industry experience, and joins JLT Re from broker Guy Carpenter, where he was most recently SVP with a focus on the regional mutual sector. Prior to Guy Carpenter, he worked at reinsurance broker Aon Benfield.
