Julie Dubuisson has been appointed as the Country Manager for the Benelux region at Lloyd’s Europe, effective July 15th, 2026.
In her new role, Dubuisson is responsible for representing and developing the Lloyd’s market across Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
She is based in Luxembourg, and will work closely with brokers, insurers, coverholders, and market stakeholders to support the development of the Lloyd’s regional market.
Most recently, Dubuisson was the General Manager, Dirigeant Agréé, and Board Member of Convex Europe in Luxembourg. In the role, she successfully launched, built, scaled, and led the development of Convex Europe across the EEA.
She has over two decades of international experience in insurance and reinsurance. having held leadership roles across Europe, North America and Africa.
Throughout her career, Dubuisson has focused on specialty insurance, market development, strategic growth, and the management of regulated insurance businesses.
In the past, she held senior positions with AXA, Swiss Re and Marsh, and contributed to the launch of a Lloyd’s syndicate dedicated to the African market.
Dubuisson previously served as a Board Member of the Luxembourg Insurance Association (ACA) and chaired its International Non-Life Commission.
