AXA XL, the property and casualty and specialty risk unit of AXA, has announced the appointment of Katy Bradica as Chief Pricing Actuary for AXA XL Reinsurance.
In her new role, Bradica will lead the Reinsurance Pricing & Analytics function and will be responsible for the design and implementation of business and production strategies to improve overall performance, influencing portfolio and technical improvement and change.
She will report directly to Nancy Bewlay, AXA XL Reinsurance CEO. She will also be a member of the Reinsurance Leadership Team.
AXA XL took to LinkedIn to share the announcement: “We’re excited to announce that effective 1 September, Katy Bradica will be taking on the role of Chief Pricing Actuary for AXA XL Reinsurance.”
Bradica first joined the company in 2006 and successfully worked her way up through several senior positions including Head of Insurance Pricing for North America and Head of Pricing, Global Long Tail Lines, SVP and Managing Director.
In 2019 she left AXA XL and joined AIG as Chief Actuary, North America General Insurance. After her brief tenure at AIG, she returned to AXA XL as Head of Pricing, Long Tail, before becoming Chief Pricing Actuary.
Katy began her insurance career at Chubb as an actuarial trainee.
