Acrisure, a global Fintech company, has announced the formation of its Great Lakes Region, led by Managing Partner Kelly Reed.
The Great Lakes Region, encompassing Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, will cater to more than 180,000 Acrisure clients, served by more than 1,100 employees.
Greg Williams, Acrisure Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO, said: “When we started Acrisure almost twenty years ago, our vision was to disrupt the insurance brokerage industry. It all started in this part of the country.

Reed will lead the team as Great Lakes Region Managing Partner, bringing over 15 years of experience in healthcare, surety, construction, manufacturing, professional liability and transportation, to his new role.
As Managing Partner, he will focus on establishing and achieving strategic and financial goals for the three states.
Reed commented: “Rebranding under the Acrisure name will enable our colleagues to provide more tech-driven solutions for our clients. Teams across the region now have access to Acrisure’s best in class technology, and a deep bench of specialists who are prepared to help clients throughout the Great Lakes.

The Great Lakes region is Acrisure’s tenth overall rebrand and the fifth of 2024, joining the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northwest, Southwest, New Jersey, New York, South and West as Acrisure-branded regions.
Moreover, this area has further significance within Acrisure, as its headquarters are located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and its Digital Sales and Service team is located in the Ohio office, which was opened in 2023, Acrisure explained.
