Insurance holding company W. R. Berkley Corporation has appointed Kenrick Law as the Head of Underwriting and Branch Manager of Berkley Re Asia, effective June 2026.
Law has over 25 years of industry experience and is based in Singapore.
For the last 12 years, he has served as the Regional Chief Executive Officer and Head of Property and Casualty (P&C) Client Management at Allianz Reinsurance, part of global insurer Allianz.
Before this, Law spent over seven years at Asia Capital Reinsurance Group, serving as Executive Vice President of Strategic Business for four years and as Head of Underwriting for Casualty for the other three.
He started his career at the industry giant Swiss Re in 2000 as a Casualty Underwriting Manager and subsequently spent six years with the reinsurer.
Berkley Re Asia commented on the appointment, “We are excited about this appointment with Kenrick’s extensive experience and leadership capabilities to complement our existing team.”
