Kevin Poole joins RISCS as Partner

Captive industry expert, Kevin Poole has joined RISCS, an independent consultancy providing captive and alternative risk transfer (ART) strategic risk advice.

In his new role based in the Cayman Islands, Poole will focus on developing RISCS’ captive consulting services in the Americas.

Commenting on his appointment, Poole said: “I am excited to be joining such a highly regarded and dynamic team and look forward to working with them to deliver more innovative solutions to our global clients.”

He has close to 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry with a career encompassing broking, insurance carriers and captive management in the UK, Guernsey and Bermuda.

He also recently spent almost two decades in the Cayman Islands. Poole worked four years working for the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, and has also worked in the captive management industry where he was more recently Director of Business Development at Artex Risk Solutions (Cayman) Limited.

During his tenure at Artex, he helped many corporate clients from numerous industry sectors establish captives, cell company and ILS structures. Additionally, Poole has acted as Chair of the Cayman Captive Forum Committee and was the inaugural recipient of the Captive International award for Captive Manager of the Year (Cayman) in 2020.
