Algorithmic Lloyd’s digital follow platform, Ki, has appointed Helen Rios as an Active Underwriter for Syndicate 1618, effective March 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
In her new role, Rios will report to Mark Allan, Chief Executive Officer of Ki, and join the firm’s Executive Committee.
Rios transitions into the role having served as the Underwriting Director for Ki’s Casualty Division since the formation of the firm in 2020.
She joined Ki ahead of launch, and has played a critical role in building out the casualty division and broader underwriting function, the firm explained.
In the past, Rios has held underwriting roles at Brit, Liberty Specialty Insurance Markets, and RMS.
