Kin partners with Snapsheet on end-to-end claims management

Digital claims management company, Snapsheet, has announced a new partnership with InsurTech firm, Kin Insurance.

After a successful $35 million Series B funding round, Kin agreed to partner with Snapsheet to enable an automated digital experience, omnichannel engagement, and end-to-end claims management from electronic first notice of loss (FNOL) through settlement.

Using their direct-to-consumer model, Kin leverages thousands of property data points to customise coverage and prices through a simple user experience.

Kin’s portfolio extends across Florida and soon California, where they offer affordable coverage for homeowners in areas prone to extreme weather.

The company’s unique approach to innovating property insurance is further streamlined through the implementation of the Snapsheet platform.

Snapsheet Claims platform offers a digitalised claims process, from omnichannel intake of FNOL to data and technology assisted investigation and claim assessment, all the way through digital payment processing for settlements.

Their system was designed from Snapsheet’s 90 carriers, which created the platform’s approach that allowed insurance partners to rapidly change the claims experience through the use of technology.
