Zambia-based reinsurer Klapton Reinsurance (Klapton Re) has announced the appointment of Aloisia Panashe Kufakunesu as Head of Risk Insights and Actuarial.
In her new role, Aloisia will lead Klapton Re’s Risk Insights and Actuarial function, providing strategic actuarial expertise to strengthen risk management, support product development, and deliver data-driven insights that enhance value for clients and partners.
She brings extensive experience in actuarial consulting, re/insurance, and pension fund advisory, with expertise spanning pricing, reserving, financial modelling, risk analysis, and IFRS 17 implementation.
Aloisia joins Klapton Reinsurance from Independent Actuaries and Consultants (IAC Africa), where she began as an Actuarial Analyst before progressing to Senior Actuarial Analyst.
Most recently, she served as Actuarial Manager at IAC Africa, leading actuarial reporting and pricing projects across Southern Africa.
