Korean Re Switzerland, the Zurich-based subsidiary of Asian reinsurer Korean Re, has announced the appointments of three new members who started last month.
Alessio Davoli has been appointed as Underwriter for the Southern Europe division. He previously worked for GenRe and was based in Milan as a P&C Treaty Writer for just over two years. Prior to this, he held the position of P&C Pricing for SCOR for nearly three years.
Angeliki Saouri has been made the new Pricing Actuary and is based in Switzerland. Prior to this position Saouri held the same one at MS Amlin, where she held it for nearly 12 years.
And Finally, Korean Re has made Lenka Sandala its Operations Specialist. With previous experience as Business Strategy Analyst for AXA XL, and Business Services Analyst for XL Catlin, she brings much expertise to the team. She is based in Switzerland.
These additions to the underwriting and operations teams are a bid to increase Korean Re’s European footprint and enhance its long-tail and structured reinsurance underwriting capabilities.
